Course Requirements: Inital assessment to ensure candidate has the potential and opportunity to gain evidence for the qualification.

Course Attendance: Day release Wednesday 9.00am to 3.30pm
Course Content: NVQ: Candidates must complete a total of six (6) vocational units. Areas covered include: Maintaining a safe, healthy and secure working environment; Effective teamwork; Presenting a positive impression of yourself & your organisation. PLUS a selection of units depending on placement such as: Moving goods & materials; Keeping stock at required levels. *Essential Skills in Communication & Application of Number. *The programme you are on and your abilities will determine whether Essential Skills is necessary.
Course Qualifications: On completion of the course you will achieve NVQ Level 1 in Distribution Operations. NVQ Level 1 can lead to a wide variety of job opportunities in the stores, warehousing and retail industries.
