Ø Apprenticeship – Varies depending on ability (for people who are employed at least 21 weeks)
Ø Steps to Work up to 26 weeks (for unemployed adults)
Ø Training for Success – 52 weeks varies depending on ability (for 16 – 18 year olds)
Ø Private up to 52 weeks (contact centre for costs)
Level 1 & 2 English & Maths – Equivalent To GCSE Levels A-D
Essential Skills in ICT is available at
Levels 1 and 2 (equivalent to GCSE)
There is a portfolio only. NO exam!
Classes are small with strong tutor support.
Classes take place in our fully-equipped IT suite with the interactive whiteboard to help students follow the lessons
The awarding body is City and Guilds
Essential Skills in ICT is available free for people eligible for Steps to Work (unemployed adults) and Training for Success (16 – 18 year olds).
